Join Victoria for her opening reception on March 6, 2020 at the Emporium Center located in Downtown Knoxville, TN. A Place Within was created from a state of contemplation and exploration. It is an extension of the processes and ideas of her previous works. In these paintings, Phillips examines how each layer interacts with the next. 

There is a sense of sublime expression as she investigates the human condition. The frailties and hardships of humanity are reflected in the disruptive processes, as she references the sublime spiritual aspects through the washes of pigments and the synergy found within the hues. 

The November exhibit at The 567 is Favorite Things, featuring a variety of work by local artists for $100 and under.

Join us First Friday, November 1, 6-9 pm, to see the new exhibit, meet the artists, and enjoy light refreshments. The exhibit will be on display through December 23. Admission to the gallery is free.
